Nate Kalvaitis

A highly experienced data science and machine learning professional with a strong background in operations research, linear programming, simulation modeling, computer science, and business analysis focused on commercializing AI solutions. He graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in 2012, and also had minors in Economics and Six Sigma.
 

Since then, Nate has built a successful career in data science and machine learning, working with companies across a variety of industries to develop and implement innovative solutions that drive growth and improve performance. Prior to founding myAItesting.com, Nate founded a marketing consulting firm where he helped clients develop automated, data-driven marketing solutions.
 

Kalvaitis Data Solutions LLC

As Principal Consultant at Kalvaitis Data Solutions LLC, he has developed marketing data warehouses through custom integrations using python and AWS technologies. He has integrated web event, consumer advertising, and subscription management data to optimize customer lifecycle marketing and improve lifetime value, and has developed full Tableau report suites including views into customer lifetime value, email and paid marketing performance, and revenue performance.

Prior to forming Kalvaitis Data Solutions LLC, Nate served as Director, Analytics at Snagajob.com. In that role, he partnered with product GMs to analyze growth opportunities, develop product roadmaps, and implement analytically driven solutions. He created account-level attrition models to determine B2B clients at greatest risk, developed consumer LTV models to shift marketing strategy from globally optimized to assigning bid levels at the job requisition (landing page) level. Nate also partnered with data science organization on multi-year journey of search/recommendation model development, integration, and optimization.

Pinnacle Entertainment

At Pinnacle Entertainment, Nate Kalvaitis served as the Business Intelligence Manager and Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. In this role, he managed a team of analysts responsible for developing datasets and Tableau dashboards across various departments including finance, marketing, casino operations, human resources, and retail and food & beverage.
 

Capital One Financial

While at Capital One Financial, Nate Kalvaitis served as a Senior Business Analyst in the Yield Management department, where he analyzed the impacts of changes to the yield management process and built SQL scripts to identify areas of process breakdowns for customer payments. Prior to his role in payments, Nate worked in Fraud Strategy where he utilized transactional purchase data to identify fraud trends and implement preventative controls against both transactional and identity fraud. Additionally, as an Analyst Intern in the Digital Marketing department, he developed a predictive email response model based on user features related to credit score/history, purchase history/behavior, and prior email engagement using decision tree and other machine learning methods. Although this experience was a decade ago, it showcases his early interest and expertise in the application of data science and machine learning techniques to business problems.
